The mechanic of Mindfulness Journey is an idle game in which Urso sets off to explore the world. During the Journey, the player doesn't see Urso on the Island but has the ability to return to the Island overview to modify the customization.
Once Urso accumulates enough Energy for a Journey (after completing Main or Side practices), the game offers to start it immediately.
During the Journey, Urso leaves the Island and ventures into the Outlands, where they explore one of the biomes in the outer lands. When the biome is fully explored, the Island extends.
If the player has a Jinne, it accompanies Urso on each Journey. This creates additional visual dynamics and may provide additional bonuses.
Adding social mechanics allows players to join the Journeys of other players, mutually increasing rewards and adding elements of socialization and collaboration.
After completing a journey, a short sequence is triggered where the player is presented with a choice between two options describing the situation Urso finds themselves in.
The choice does not imply right or wrong options. Any choice provides a unique Reward that will influence the development of the character and the surrounding world in its own way.
For example, at the end of a Journey, the game asks whether the player likes more: cats or dogs. Depending on the answer, the player will receive a Cat or a Dog as their Jinne.
The Journey mechanic adds depth to the game. The end of a Journey is a decisive moment where the player can influence the outcome. The variability of choices makes the stories of different Ursos unique.
